My Review:

WOW!! OMG!!  This series never slows down! Love the characters that Jennifer L. Armentrout has created. Her characters in the covenant series are relate able. Yes, some of them are gods, pures, half bloods, etc., but as Alex travels through many difficult times, her journey feels like you are right there with her. 

I am having a little difficult time deciding what to write. I do not want to give anything away. Throughout the book I became so frustrated with Seth, as Alex was too,  and for Aiden, I am in love with him! Aiden has really shown who he truly is. He is strong, faithful and you can trust him through and through. The gods start to make their presence in the story. This is good and bad. I am very happy with the direction the story is going. I am also, very nervous and excited to read the next book.

My Review:

This is my favorite novella! A great segue to the next book, and what an ending!!  It was short, but it did not feel that way at all. A wonderful, suspenseful story which is written in a small package.

Review:


I so need the next book, Deity.  I want it  NOW!! What an ending!! I laughed, I cried, found myself holding my breath, I even banged my head with the book and talked out loud when frustrated or mad (I think my family is getting use to my outburst with great books). Now I do not know who I want Alex to end up with. I grew to love Seth! My heart is broken in two for Aiden and Seth.
I feel that Alex is a strong girl. I really like her.  She's a girl doing the best she can with, what life has dealt her. I just want her to be happy. She has so many obstacles in her way and major choices to make, it seems impossible. She is in love with Aiden who is a Pure. There are serious consequences for a half blood to be involved with a Pure. She is emotionally connected with Seth, who comes off as a jerk a lot of the time, then ends up being there for her when she needs it most. And the Council (which most of them do not like half bloods) puts Alex on trial, to question her involvement with the increase daimon attacks.

I own the eBook versions of  Daimon and Half Blood. I love the Covenant Series and I love the art work on the covers. I had to buy them to add to my book shelf.

Review:


A great novella / prequel to Obsidian. I am so glad that Jennifer wrote Dawson and Bethany's story. Humor, suspense and emotional. Knowing the outcome, did make it difficult for me to read because I so wanted a happy ending for them. Yes, I was sad, I just love them as a couple. I instantly loved Dawson. He is so sweet and a great brother. Bethany is a nice girl and loves her little brother. They both have a lot in common but yet are so different. Getting to know Dawson and Bethany, and learning more about their story, helped me to understand Daemon's reactions to Katy in Obsidian. I now have several theories about this story and where it is going. I hope a couple of my theories are right.

I did the first two on time and unfortunately I'm not able to stay on schedule for the next three. I need to concentrate on work and getting caught up. Review:


I held off awhile not sure about reading this, because I was not sure if I would like to read a popular fairy tale retold. I am so glad I changed my mind. I really felt this was a good book. This is a dark version of the story placed in present time. It has a lot of action This book does contain some graphic fighting scenes, and  was written well. I loved how the sisters Scarlett and Rosie,(who are two years apart) are so close they feel as if they share one heart. Silas is their childhood friend and is loves them both. The three of them are bonded emotionally by the knowledge of the Fenris and becoming hunters together to protect innocent girls who do not know the big bad wolf really exist. In this story their bond they share becomes strained and tested.

My Summary:


The story begins with Dr. Luke Findley working on the late night shift in the ER. The local police bring in a beautiful and mysterious woman, Lanore McIlvrae (Lanny), with blood all over her clothes, who confesses to a murder  Dr. Luke Findley thought this was going to be another quiet night in this small town ER. Lanny is desperate to get away from the police and she reveals to Dr. Luke Findley that she is immortal and she needs his help. Lanny decides to confide in Luke and tells her story.


Review:

I was searching for historical fiction  for my nook and discovered The Taker. I found myself not wanting to put it down for many different reasons.  It is a thriller, has romance, is dark and has very disturbing scenes but it is needed to tell the story of Lanny. Lanny makes choices in her life that puts her in dangerous situations and it constantly tests her sanity. I do not consider this to be a paranormal story. This book is not about vampires, werewolves etc. I liked the fact that through reading the story I eventually found out how she became immortal. I gave it a rating of 4 because I did have a little trouble with the transition of switching from Luke's and Lanny's point of view which takes you from present to the 1800's.

Review




I love this book. That should not be a surprise since I love Jennifer L. Armentrout's Covenant series. Now I wasn't sure if I would like it because  the idea of a Alien boy next door did not appeal to me. But from the beginning I was absorbed into Katy's story and just did not want to stop reading, Very entertaining. and has a bit of mystery thrown in. I love the humor and the strained relationship that Katy and Daemon have. Daemon brings out a side of Katy she has never showed before. Katy starts out as a quiet girl who loves to blog. Her mom moves her to get a fresh start. Katy decides to go next door and meet the neighbors. Then she meets Daemon and finds him to be the most difficult boy she has ever met. She is pushed in having contact with him because of Daemons sister. His sister really likes Katy and wants to be great friends. So again I LOVED this book and can't wait until the next one.
